Christmas light installation in Boulder, CO
Twenty minutes down the Diagonal and we are on your street. Boulder is the hardest town on the Front Range to light well — landmarked facades on Mapleton Hill, steep pitches above Chautauqua, and mature street trees that swallow a roofline if you get the bulb spacing wrong. We have been doing it since 2018.

Lighting Boulder is not like lighting the plains.
Boulder homes are older and taller than anything in the new subdivisions east of us. Steep pitch, cut stone, and slate or shake in the historic districts — none of which takes a staple. Every Boulder install is clipped, never nailed, and we carry the ladder stand-offs that keep weight off original gutters.

Historic-district homes take longer and cost more than the same square footage in a newer town. That is crew time on ladders, not a Boulder surcharge.
Everything included, one Boulder crew.

Downtown Boulder runs the biggest holiday programme on the Front Range. Here is the season, and where an install has to land to be lit before it.

Boulder is our tightest calendar. Downtown switches on in late November and the parade lands mid-December, so the whole city is looking at lights for a solid month. Boulder installs also take longer — taller pitches, older trim, more ladder work per house — so we hold fewer Boulder days than anywhere else. Reserve by October 31. October installs are 10% off; November is prime season.
Questions Boulder homeowners ask.
Do you use staples or nails on historic Boulder homes?
Never. Everything is clipped to the gutter lip or shingle edge and comes off in January without a mark. On Mapleton Hill and the older West End homes we also use ladder stand-offs so no weight rests on original gutters or trim.
Can you light a three-story Boulder home?
Yes. Steep pitch and height are the two things that make a Boulder quote higher than the same square footage in a newer town — it is crew time, not materials. We carry the equipment for it and our people are trained and insured for the work.
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Boulder?
Season packages start at $550. Most Boulder homes land between $1,200 and $3,000 because of pitch and height, and larger historic properties run higher. Every price includes design, lights, install, season checks, takedown and storage, locked for three years.
Do you work with Boulder's landmarked properties?
Yes, and we scope them differently. Nothing is fixed into masonry or original woodwork, and we will walk the property before quoting if the facade is landmarked.
